Katie has been a lover of yoga and meditation for many years. She received her 200 hour yoga teaching certification in 2013 and since then, she has integrated the teachings into her personal life and classes. Since getting sober in January 2017, yoga has become one of the anchors of her recovery.
Katie found Recovery Yoga Meetings® about ten months into sobriety and immediately felt at home. She completed RYM training in 2017 so she could share the healing power of RYM with others in the recovery community.
